First of all, welcome to the site!

I setup Career Slave as a means to offer some advice to a variety of people out there - mainly because I’ve been through a multitude of different jobs and situations throughout my life and I like spending a little time offering some advice based on my experiences.

I didn’t know what I wanted to do for a living when I left School.  I found a rough idea at Uni.  I couldn’t get a job in my chosen profession after Uni and spent years in temp jobs.  I worked abroad for a year where I found my niche - an industry similar to my initial goals.  I worked at home for a little time.  I went and worked agency side for a few years.  I now run my own business.

What I would like to do with this blog is create a small archive of articles which relfect my experiences throughout my career.  None of them will change the world and it’s unlikely that my experience will be so similar to yours as to offer you a great solution for a problem you may have.

But I do hope that they will be sufficiently entertaining so you haven’t wasted your time reading them and perhaps you might be able to take some inspiration from them.
